Our mission is to support high quality, school based tutoring interventions to close the learning gap

The Tutor Network is a public service initiative of Teach For Australia, an education non-profit organisation whose vision is of an Australia where education gives every child, regardless of background, greater choice for their future.

We work with Australia’s students from disadvantaged backgrounds (low socioeconomic households, regional communities and/or Indigenous) to help them realise their learning potential and access an excellent education.

Our staff, supporters and partners share a real concern identified by recent research that COVID-19 disruptions have significantly increased the learning gap for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Tutor Network offers practical, evidence-based and cost-effective supports for tutors, teachers and schools to achieve maximum impact from small group in-school tutoring.

The Tutor Network resources were made possible through the support and contributions of our partners.
